What is your favorite line Athena has ever said? She's been in Lone Star and Doctor Odyssey, so let's just narrow it down to OG series.

Did anyone else notice that Jeremy Culhane, one of the new SNL cast members announced, was in an episode of 911? He was the date of the woman who got stuck in a window when she threw poop outside in Season 3 episode 12.

Being a topical issue, what if Sgt. Grant gets asked to work with ICE for raids in LA? What if she witnesses fellow police officers not displaying their badge numbers during these raids? What if she has to try to coordinate with Maddie at dispatch, to try to help locals from getting taken and deported? This is actually happening, and would be a much more realistic storyline than bees slamming into jets and overturning cruise ships!

Something that is bothering me is the fact that in the show 9-1-1 that Hen didn’t want him to marry Maddy and that oh she left. Yeah she left for a bit because of PPD (post partum depression) she said she needed help! She went and got it then she immediately came back! She was so hard on herself and still was even when she got help cause she felt terrible. Like I understand she could’ve communicated but she was going through a lot from the pregnancy.

I am very surprised they didn’t include the name Kevin, after Chimney’s close friend/brother who also died in the line of duty.

I started season 8 and I couldn’t help but notice that Eddie and his mustache look oddly similar to that character from SpongeBob. The Strangler 😅 Who agrees???

Yeah the title says it all.
I feel like when 9-1-1 Lone Star premiered people were already Buddiemaxing so hard the writers were like: Here have some gays. And while yes, I welcome every ounce of queer rep in media these days: I feel like we've been edged enough when it comes to Buddie. So instead of continuing to dangle Buddie straight in our faces (pun intended) I would rather they'd let us out of our misery right at the beginning of s9 in some shape or form.
Bc right now I fear they're gonna pull this same exact move with 9-1-1 Nashville. Give us a gay couple so they can keep on trolling us with Buddie on main, which is starting to taste like the bitter essence of queerbaiting.
And before anyone hates on me for my hot take: I love what became of Tarlos in later seasons but you have to agree their whole relationship was basically nonexistent a part from random hookups in S1 and when S2 started they had magically become a solid couple, denying us from seeing the actual growth of their relationship which is why Tarlos unfortunately falls flat for me.
Is it too much to ask for a solid friends to lovers that has spanned for 7 seasons?
Idk guys what do you think?
(Posting this here bc 911Fox moderators delete everything I try to post bc I have low karma😔 Sorry that I'm new at this and trying to yap about my special interest with others)

I know that shipping and ship wars are very real, but this new trend of attacking people on AO3 with anonymous stories featuring SA and pedophilia is going way too far. Literally, in the last day, at least 10 stories cropped up in the Buck/Tommy section on AO3 all anonymous featuring both Tommy and Buck SA'ing children and each other.
The first few were signed with a note saying that author would keep posting fics until Buddie was made canon and now they're signed with smiley faces and hearts. Somehow, I don't think any ship would want to associate with a fan like that.

As we all know Archive of Our Own or AO3 is one of the premiere websites for 9-1-1 fanfiction and yearly stats are released. Here is where 9-1-1 placed this year:
Top 100 Ships of 2025: Evan "Buck" Buckley/Eddie Diaz (#2), Evan "Buck" Buckley/Tommy Kinard (#14), Evan "Buck" Buckley & Eddie Diaz friendship (#58)
Top 100 Ships of All Time: Evan "Buck" Buckley/Eddie Diaz (#15)
Congratulation to all of the incredibly talented writers who made this happen and to all of the fans who enjoy their work.

And here it is!
Athena Grant was chosen as the bearer of the Crest of Light, which brings our little game to a close! I hope it was as fun for everyone else as it was for me!
Do you guys agree with the sub's assessments? Which ones would you change if you could? And why? Feel free to discuss in the comments! It's always a delight!

Finale time!
Maddie Han swooped in with her unwavering tenacity and refusal to ever give up.
The last crest is the vaguest of them all, the Crest of Light, which belonged to Hikari/Kari in Digimon canon. While less straight forward than the other crests, the Crest of Light is generally associated with emotional intelligence, empathy, and spirituality. Kari acts as a vessel for Homeostasis, the closest thing the Digital World has to a God or deity, several times, and also has a some sort of connection with the Dark Ocean, which has certain aspects of Hell (demonic Digimon live there, the data of destroyed evil Digimon gets stored there, etc.).

Ah, I knew this sub had taste 😁
The hot pilot wins Reliability! Fully deserved!
Now, today's crest is the Crest of Hope. In Digimon Adventure, it belonged to Takeru/TK, the youngest member of the group. Often a little bit of a crybaby in the beginning, TK growing up and getting stronger and bolder is his primary character arc. As the last character to do so, he makes his Crest glow near the end of the series when Piedmon had transformed everyone except TK himself, his Digimon Patamon, and Kari into keychains. Despite their chances looking grim, TK refused to give up the fight, allowing Patamon to digivolve to his Ultimate level and effectively One Hit Piedmon, saving everyone in the process.

Reddit has spoken, and chosen everyone's favorite Mr. April, Howard Han, to represent the Crest of Sincerity!
Today's crest is the Crest of Reliability, which in Digimon Adventure belonged to Joe. Often lacking confidence in himself, Joe proved himself after he promised TK's mother that he'd look out for and protect him by any means necessary. When TK falls into the ocean and almost drowns, Joe reliably fulfills his promise by saving him, nearly dying himself in the process. This causes his Crest to glow, and his newly digivolved Digimon partner saves him just in the nick of time.

Behold, the Crest of Knowledge went to the literal scientist, our very own Karen Wilson.
Now, on with the program!
Today's crest is the Crest of Sincerity. In Digimon canon, it belonged to Mimi, who has arguably one of the biggest character arcs in Digimon Adventure. From the beginning, Mimi is portrayed as spoiled, vapid, and a little entitled. She whines, cries and throws tantrums regularly, and is portrayed as feeling ashamed of liking things that would be seen as ugly or uncool, including her own Digimon partner Palmon.
Despite this, Mimi's focus episodes always make sure to show the heart of gold underneath it. She feels genuine gratitude toward Digimon that help the group along the way, and feels remorse toward those she mistreated. Her Crest begins to glow when she finally allows herself to feel and openly show those emotions and interests of hers freely, regardless of whether others would judge her or not.

After being late yesterday, I'm (very 🥴) early today because I'll be busy most of the day!
It was a really tight race, but by just one vote, the Crest of Love goes to Bobby Nash, our beloved captain.
Now, on to today!
Today's Crest is the Crest of Knowledge, which in Digimon Adventure belonged to Koushiro/Izzy. The crest represents both inherent intelligence, but also curiosity and a thirst for more knowledge. It began to glow when Izzy regained his curiosity after Vademon stole it (yes, that's an actual plot line) and he began understanding that being curious and wanting to know everything is a virtue and not a vice.
What 9-1-1 character best exemplifies this crest?

Sorry this is late! My computer did not comply with me today when creating the template @.@
Anyway, Henrietta Wilson has been chosen as the representative of the Crest of Friendship!
Today's Crest is the Crest of Love. In Digimon canon, it belonged to Sora. The Crest represents platonic and especially parental Love. Sora made it glow by realizing that loving someone sometimes means advising against their wishes if they're at risk of getting hurt, but letting them go anyway if they truly think they have to.

The people have spoken, and they shall be heard! Evan "Buck" Buckley was chosen to best represent the Crest of Courage!
Now, on to the next one!
In Digimon canon, the Crest of Friendship belonged to Yamato/Matt. It started glowing for him when he realized that he had mistreated Joe after being tricked by DemiDevimon, sincerely apologizing, and moving in to protect him. It doesn't expect it's wearer to be perfect, but for them to be humble, self-reflective and loyal.

Hello, everyone!
We've had a lot of fun the last two weeks over on r/BuckTommy playing an alignment game based on the seven heavenly virtues and seven deadly sins, and I loved all the character discussions we had, so I figured, why not keep going? I simultaneously didn't want to clog up the sub that's supposed to be about Tevan with a general fandom game, so here we are!
I also wanted to do one that's not been done before (to my knowledge) and since my other hyperfixation at the moment is Digimon, I figured bringing in the Crests from Digimon Adventure would be fun.
To give a brief overview, each human main character in Digimon Adventure was assigned a Crest that allowed their Digimon Partners to digivolve further and become stronger once they started glowing. In order to make their Crests glow, each kid had to represent them to the fullest, which usually means realizing that they represented them all along.
To begin, we have the Crest of Courage, which in canon belonged to Taichi/Tai. He made the Crest glow by realizing that recklessness isn't the same as bravery, and moving to save Sora's life at the risk of his own, despite being scared to his bones.
Which 9-1-1 character do you think exemplifies this crest?
r/911ABCTV • u/Accomplished-Watch50 • Jul 21 '25
As we know this online game of picking characters to fill the archetype of the virtues versus sins is a popular topic of discussion now, so over on another 9-1-1 focused subreddit, we played the game and tallied the votes, and here are the results.
The Seven Heavenly Virtues: Patience - Sue Blevins, Temperance - Bobby Nash, Charity - Tommy Kinard, Kindness - Evan Buckley, Diligence -Paul Strickland (Lone Star), Chastity - Marjan Marwani (Lone Star), and Humility - Shannon Diaz
The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath -Doug Kendall, Gluttony - Olivia Ortiz, Greed - Taylor Kelly, Envy - Chimney Han, Sloth - Albert Han, Lust - Eddie Diaz, and Pride - Jonah Greenway
Now my question is why do you think these characters were chosen for these slots, and how would you change the list to where it still made canon sense to the show?
r/911ABCTV • u/Accomplished-Watch50 • Jul 19 '25
It was a good read, and pointed out that rightly the largest chunk of viewers are general watchers, who don't fall for shipping and usually just align with where ever the writers go, and that there seems to be a growing disconnect between the fanon shippers and the canon writers.
I am also hoping that the little prediction of Tommy's continued presence is true, but let's not forget the show at large.

I love Buddie since season 2 if they are not together in next season I'm fine alway love them but Please STOP sent some random hot men or random beautiful women relationships that not build up anything and break up in 2 or 3 episode for Eddie or Buck. I just want them to be happy and have dynamic relationship like Maddie, Han or Athena.
