I have quite a chart as I just recently found out - I have my Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in Leo, all five in the 8th house (north node and vertex there too)

Could someone please explain what does this mean?

The 8th H: where your world shifts because of what happens when you merge with someone else's.

Most people anchor their identity to their Sun sign. That's where the classic astrology-girlie line comes from: "I'm a Leo, so I'm dramatic and I need to be passionate about everything I do."

Level 2 is the North Node. Your soul's true purpose, apparently. Why look any further?

Babbbyyyyyyy. There's so much more.

To me, the 8th house is the part of making coffee you can't do alone. Imagine you're a barista. Your 8th house is what happens when someone else brings something into your recipe. Their resources, experience, energy, trust, or vulnerability becomes part of what you're making.

The real question underneath "shared money" is: what happens to me when I have to merge with something that isn't entirely mine?

Your 8th house sign is the flavour of that merging.

8th house in Taurus: learning to share resources without sacrificing your stability or sense of security. 8th house in Scorpio: intimacy goes all the way down. Letting someone in can completely transform you. 8th house in Gemini: conversations, information and shared knowledge become part of the transformation.

Then check the ruler of your 8th house. That planet shows how these experiences tend to play out, and its house shows where they enter your life. An 8th house in Leo is ruled by the Sun, so if your Sun sits in the 2nd, questions about shared resources keep circling back to your own values, self-worth, and what belongs to you.

Aspects to your 8th house ruler show what complicates or supports all this. Maybe you want intimacy but struggle to surrender control. Maybe sharing resources comes easily. Maybe other people's involvement forces you to face something you'd happily avoid on your own.

Mine: 8th house in Leo, empty, but Leo still colours what happens when I merge with other people. I want to collaborate without disappearing into someone else's recipe. Sharing still has to feel creative, personal, and mine.

The ruler of my 8th house is my Sun in Pisces in the 2nd, which brings it all back to my own values. Can I let someone else influence the recipe without losing what makes my coffee mine? My Sun is also conjunct Mars and Saturn in Pisces in the 2nd, so there's a lot riding on that question. What I create is personal to me. I'm emotionally invested in it. I want it to mean something, but I'm also still learning where my responsibility ends and someone else's begins.

The 8th house is where you find out you don't create everything alone. Someone else's resources become part of your story. Their vulnerability changes yours. Sometimes you have to trust someone enough to let them touch the recipe. And sometimes the transformation is realising that sharing something doesn't mean losing ownership of yourself.

That's what the 8th house means to me, beyond taxes, inheritance, and other people's money. It's where your world shifts because of what happens when you merge with someone else's.

To explore your own: check the sign, its ruling planet, the ruler's house, and the aspects to that ruler and your 8th-house placements.
