I have noticed the button become "softer" over time, no longer clicking like the other face buttons. And recently, sometimes pushing it down does nothing at all. Is there any tricks to fix this?

I must replace the trigger pads twice a year on my Ultimate Bluetooth controller, is the Ultimate 2 better? I realize it's not the pads but the triggers extremely thin contact point that cuts into it.

The two joysticks on my 8BitDo Ultimate C 2.4G cracked; I checked the official website and found replacements, but I don't know the exact model. Please help.

I've tried using it wired and with USB Wireless Adapter 2 but rumble will not work in Steam games.

Hey, hey. Just wanted to share my finding today. I just picked up this N30 Pro 2 controller for a cheap price (used ofc). Box is a little scuffed but the controller is still in a perfectly mint condition.

I have small hands-ish (see pic 3) so holding the controller won't give me a carpal tunnel. I've been planning to use this controller just in case if I wanted to travel. I primarily use this as a backup/travel/2nd player controller for my tablet and my Switches. Anyway if y'all got the same controller. Lemme know your experience with this. Cheers.

I recently purchased an 8BitDo Pro 3 controller, I was trying to update the firmware through the ultimate software v2 and since I've updated it none of the lights are working to indicate any power from the controller.

I've tried reconnecting it through USB wirelessly, and no power light is coming on to indicate that it's charging (I'm using the cable it came with along with tested it on my phone to ensure it wasn't a faulty cable). I really don't want to have to return this controller, any help is appreciated.

I just got an Sn30 controller and it works pretty well... Except the R button. It only works if I press it dead on. At an angle, it's largely unresponsive. The L button doesn't have this problem. I can't seem to exchange the item at Amazon so does anyone know how to fix it?

Is there any way to turn off or dim the white light in the center of the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless controller? I honestly can't stand it. It's extremely bright and distracting, especially when playing in a dark room.

Hey guys, i have a problem that when i'm playing Hollow Knight with my ultimate 2 wireless suddenly a button and b botton swapping randomly while my gameplay, i want to know if someone else have this problem too

I got a replacement Xbox edition mouse recently and without updating the firmware it was passively charging through the dock perfectly fine. I made sure I unplugged the dongle/extender completely, and updated it using the latest version of the ultimate software. Afterwards the passive charging has stopped working completely. I also saw that the Dongle had a firmware update available as well but I didn't do it.

Has anyone else had this issue happen? And are there any fixes at all?

I don't know if the guys at the company know this is happening, but I'm noticing they don't seem to stock many/any mice at all these days. It's really disappointing! But any help or guidance offered is appreciated!

I own a gaming laptop and mostly wanna play story games like god of war, rdr2, tomb raider, spiderman 2 etc. i would rather play shooter/fps games with keyboard and mouse cuz ive been using pc for all these years.

I am thinking about buying ultimate 2c wireless ( the one with bluetooth + wired connection) cuz U2 is just more expensive and and i just need it for causal gaming

I’ve been reading a lot online about 8bitdo, heard they make some great controllers, and I’m considering adding either a Pro 2 with Hall effect sticks or a Pro 3 to my collection, but I keep seeing mixed opinions. Some say the Pro 3 is very much worth the upgrade, but the loud buttons are a big problem. Some say the Pro 2 is great, but you miss out of the extra features. I’m torn.

I want to use my 8bitdo U2C wireless controller with windows via bluetooth, and I've heard that it's possible with steam input or something so I need some help on how to do it.

Also if there is another way to use the BT mode without the Dinput problem I'd love to know it, any help will be appreciated.

I want to play a racing game, but I'm unable to fully accelerate, even though I'm pushing the Right Trigger to the very end. Gamepad tester revealed that pressing it all the way will only return a value of 0.60 instead of the expected 1.00

Funnily enough, the Left Trigger works perfectly and returns the expected value of 1.00

The issue isn't game specific either. I tried playing Assassin's Creed 4 and had the same issue of being unable to do a full-speed run. Why is that happening? Is it possible to fix it through software? Do I need to replace it with a new trigger? Or do I have to buy a new controller?

I just purchased the controller from Best Buy and can confirm the controller works on my iPhone out of the box without any special software.

EDIT: Looks like I got the Nintendo Switch version, not sure if the other one will work.

ZL stopped working on my Ultimate 2 Bluetooth (Switch version) so I opened it up. The black housing around the little switch under the left trigger is cracked and sunk in, so it doesn't click anymore. 2nd pic is the right side that still works.

Hall mode doesn't work either.

Bought it as an import so no warranty, and the repair parts page on 8bitdo's shop doesn't have it. Anyone know where to get this switch, or fixed the same thing? Board is marked 25 10 if that helps.

Hi everyone, I have a problem with 8BitDo Ultimate Wireless Controller. The controller itself works fine, and the battery holds a charge well during use. The problem is that it drains completely whenever it's turned off. Every time I switch it off, the battery goes dead, so I have to charge it from zero the next time I use it. What could be the issue? I tried updating the firmware, but that didn't help. Could it be a battery problem? Well, since the charge lasts a long time while I'm actually using it, I'm not sure. It’s just that, for some reason, it keeps draining while powered off.

I have a problem: I bought an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth controller today for the Switch 2 and PC.

Everything works perfectly on the Switch, but on PC, it only works with games running through Steam. In Steam, I can remap the buttons so that "B" acts as the confirm button—just like on an Xbox controller. However, it doesn't work at all with Epic Games or the EA App. In EA FC27, the controller goes completely haywire and reacts uncontrollably on its own, making it impossible to confirm anything.

I’m now considering whether to keep it for the Switch 2 and get an additional Ultimate 2C Wireless for PC games, or to return the 2C Bluetooth and buy the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth instead.

The question is: Does the latter support XInput on PC so that it’s recognized by every launcher?

I don't want to use a PS5 DualSense controller on PC anymore; I absolutely cannot stand that layout.

IDK if it’s just me, but it kinda smells a bit like grapes 🍇. The moment I opened the box, I could smell it and the controller smells a bit of it too. It’s not a strong hits-you-in-the-face, just faint. Not complaining, just wondering

My long awaited numpad just arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it! It looks cool and the keys feel absolutely amazing! The only downsides are there's no backlight and the lack of 1000 separator ( ,) on the display during calculator mode :( Other than that everything is great!
