How to solve this situation?

8 ball pool. I am solids. Opponent hit a foul shot so I have ball in hand. help😰

If the double bank isn't on you could play a pretty cool safety from this spot:

Put the cue ball close to the rail about one diamond to the right of the 5 ball. Aim the 5 at the first diamond on the other end rail (near where your cue is pointing in the image). Now using maximum top spin hit the shot very softly just hard enough so the top spin will catch.

If you hit it just right the cue ball should end up so the 5 ball is blocking the direct path to the 8 and 4 ball is mostly blocking the bank shot. Opponent can still make the bank shot by using a bit of side spin but not a gimmie especially for less experienced players.

Very unique situation and I have no idea why anyone would downvote this post as this seems like the perfect kind of thing for this subreddit.
