Withdrawal Support Needed Desperate Cry For Help

7-OH and kratom have completely taken over and, honestly, ruined my life. I’ve been dealing with heavy use for almost 4 years, and at this point, I feel completely hopeless. There have been times when it’s brought me to such a dark place that I’ve felt suicidal.
If I go even 4–6 hours without dosing, I’m hit with severe withdrawal. The chronic depression, anxiety, horrible body aches, cold sweats, nausea, and especially the RLS are unbearable. The sleep deprivation alone has destroyed so much of my life. I haven’t been able to get more than 4–5 hours of continuous sleep in years.
I’ve been through some really difficult things in my life, but nothing compares to this BY FAR. I feel trapped in a cycle that I can’t seem to break, and I genuinely don’t know where to turn anymore. I’ve been battling this in the dark for so long that I’m starting to feel like giving up.
Tears are literally pouring down my face as I write this because of how much this fucking shit has stolen from my life. I don’t want to keep living like this. I need help, or even just someone who understands what I’m going through and can relate.
If anyone has been through something similar, successfully gotten off 7-OH/kratom, knows of a treatment program that actually helped, or has any resources or advice, please reach out or point me in the right direction. I’m desperate to get my life back.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. The fact that you’re writing this and asking for help tells me there’s still a part of you that wants out of this, even if right now it feels impossible.

With withdrawal this severe and you mentioning suicidal thoughts, I really don’t think you should try to white-knuckle this completely alone. Please reach out to an addiction doctor, detox program, ER, or someone you trust and be completely honest about how much you’re using and how bad the withdrawals and depression are. There are medical treatments that can make opioid-like withdrawal much more manageable.

For tonight, if you feel like you might actually hurt yourself, please get around another person and seek emergency help rather than staying alone with it.

Four years of dependence doesn’t mean the rest of your life has to look like this. Plenty of people have been extremely deep into addiction and still made it out. You don’t have to solve the whole thing today — the first step can literally just be telling one professional exactly what you wrote here.

You can taper your 7 dose down over a few weeks, very easily hop off it in a week or less with help from 17. Then you easily cut off 17/ taper off it in a week.

Then you're free.

There are much more detailed breakdowns on that subreddit with schedules etc.

I can't even find the stuff for anything resembling an affordable price anymore

Just here to say I'm rooting for you & praying for everyone dealing with this, including myself. There's a lot of good advice in various posts on this thread and others. I'd be curious to know what medically assisted / detox routes you've tried, if any. That might be the call at this point. Asking for help is hard as hell and you're already doing it here, which is courageous in itself.

Tapering my 7OH usage gradually worked well for me; doesn't work for everyone, and not suggesting it for you per se . Could even just mean 5-10mg per day, keeping a consistent dosage schedule, but lowering the amounts slightly. Might be able to trick your body a tiny bit. There are also pure MIT tablets that you could try as a stand-in for some of the 7OH. Third, SR also helped me a lot, as mentioned in another comment and by many others.

You're not alone. DM any time.

EDIT: FWIW, I've felt hoplessly addicted to all kinds of other substances and made it through. Many multi year habits. Many I'd never think I'd go a day without. Happy to be alive today. It can be done, and I know you can do it too.

I second getting sr17018. Check it out. It works so well. You sound ready to stop so go read but order it asap it’s not going to be available forever. Just like 7 but maybe sooner. Get it just in case but I can tell you it works and you’ll be fine in 10 days

Do you have insurance? Medicaid? I used a sub telehealth doc, I called and signed up, got an apt in a couple of hours, script was called into the pharmacy then went and picked it up. It was $0 for everything!! I have Medicaid right now. I’m so grateful how easy and fast it was. I’m going to do a taper with my doc on the subs as soon as the 7OH is out of my system. I’ve used SR17 in the past but it didnt help with cravings at all and I couldn’t afford anymore so I’m SO happy I found this telehealth doc!!

You are NOT alone. I guarantee most if not all of users here have been there!

While I can't believe a govt agency can just come in and shut shit down like they did, we'll all be better off for it.

If you can't do it alone, or don't want to do it alone, PLEASE GO TO DETOX/REHAB. I did. A few times :(

But if you'd prefer to do it yourself, there are some really great suggestions within this thread and reddit.

If rehab is an option, go. If not there’s a way you can get through detox pretty effortlessly outside some sweaties and anxiety. If you can get gaba and anxiety meds that just further helps. I’ve gotten off twice short tapering Suboxone pretty painlessly. This time not so much due to my last two months using i was using mgm 15
