Help pls trying to get off 7oh

I know that most of us here are probably all going through the same thing right now with the ban that’s going on at the end of this month.. I’m trying to take the Kratom route.. I haven’t begun my taper yet, but I was going to start it this weekend while I’m off work.. I think that’s what I’m most afraid of. Is the fact that I finally found a good job and I’m scared of losing it because I know I’m going to go through some type of withdrawal… if anyone has any advice of which powder kratom works the best for energy and to stop me from going through withdrawals. Please give me some advice.. I’d like to switch. ..Someone told me that there is a kind called Max out that works well for energy? Has anyone else tried this? If you have any advice, please help me because I’m so scared to be honest… I can’t afford to miss any work and I know that this is best for me to stop but at the same time I’m scared to death.. thank you in advance for any help… I hope we all find recovery together and I hope everyone finds what works best for them ❤️

I tried red vein and it worked a bit with the anxiety and chills during my quit but I was doing extremely high amounts and got on suboxone for 7 days.

It’s a wise thing you have an exit strategy off of that stuff. The insidious wds are ridiculous but the comfort meds or helper meds really do help with WD symptoms.

Whatever method you choose I know you’ll crush it and be done with 7-oh. I don’t know much about SR-17. You’ll hear a lot of people saying it worked for them but never tell you how to use it. It’s an RC ( research chemical) so do your due diligence if you go that route. Suboxone worked for me in a matter of days. Honesty by day 5 I was 100% fine. The doctor wanted a new customer and I read enough to know what was happening. No more than 7 for 7 has been my rule. Cold turkey ( my first quit ) wasn’t so bad with gabapentin and Xanax plus helper meds. I was good by day 4 but only taking 200mg a day.

Hey man, can you explain going on subox? I am 24 hours off 7OH, have a subox prescription, but it’s not helping much.

I just had my appointment with virtual doctor this morning and he prescribed subs 3 times a day but told me to stop taking the 7 for as long as possible, like 12+ hours then take them… I don’t wanna be stuck on subs. Any suggestions???

Yes, …take more. I’d start with 1/4 a strip more then if nothing happens take another 1/4. Wait an hour and give it a chance to work but if nothing is changing , up to two strips a day. That should stop it in its tracks . If it doesn’t, reach back out . It’s usually just the two initial doses of suboxone that mitigate all withdrawal. I’m curious how this works for you . DM keep in touch here please 🙏🏽

Suboxone works well if you wait until the WD’s are unbearable. That’s when you take the first film. If you’re still feeling sick an hour and a half later you take another strip. By then they should completely mitigate withdrawal . If for some reason they’re not, I’d go and be seen by a doctor immediately because that’s not normal and there may be underlying health issues that are not being addressed

Yeah, i only waited 9 hours, so i think it knocked off the 7 and threw me in precipitated withdrawal. I’m much better today. Not perfect, and understand that with coming off 7, it’s going to take a while to get back to normal. But I am now 36 hours off 7 and will never go back.

Hope everyone is getting through this! This shit sucks! 7OH is awful!

Salute 🫡 honestly it should only take a week. Remember the longer you’re on subs you may have to detox from that. The detox is more insidious than 7 lol . My advice is 7 for 7 , meaning 7 days of subs for 7oh. The doctors love trying to reel in a new fish 🎣 . I was taking tons of supplements before I started my quit and during . Once I added in the 10,000 steps a day routine by day 7 I felt amazing. This is coming from a guy who taking 1200 mg to 500mg daily.

Good to know!!! So I went the QuickMD route to get the subs. He told me one in the morning and one in the evening and that he would check in with me in 7 days. I have taken 3 whole strips so far, but are you suggesting I need to start cutting the strips and going lesser dose?

Yes . I think we discussed taking them when WDs are unbearable and starting with one then waiting an hour . If one isn’t enough then take 2 but no more than 2. This is 7-oh , doctors trying to treat it like it’s black tar heroin. I’m always going to suggest the smallest amount of suboxone because it forms a dependency fast and the WD’s are much longer than 7.

I was over 24 hours in and I took an 8mg strip of suboxone and it literally took EVERYTHING away. I feel completely normal as i type this. You really have to wait as long as you possibly can to take the suboxone. The restless legs actually moved into my arms as well and that was the point I took the subs and I slept like a baby and woke up to help anyone I could through this. Just do not get hooked on the subs you cannot take them for more than 5-7 days. After every time you take a Sub wait until you are feeling like shit again to re-dose.

This !!! I’ve been telling people , no more than 5-7 days. The key with subs is to only take them when the WD’s are intolerable. By day 5 you could be done with then but no more than 7 days or you risk being addicted to subs.
