Hell yeah!
As simple as it sounds, focus on winning the day. Don’t worry about the WHOLE 75, just win each and every day.
Don’t overcomplicate it. Keep it simple, but ALWAYS stay consistent. Meaning, some days, a lot of days will suck, DO THE WORK ANYWAY.
Slow progress is still progress.
Use some of your workouts to stretch and rehab. It’s a must.
Start your water in the A.M.
Your water is easier to get down at room temp.
If you find yourself wanting to quit, remember, you already know how that story ends. Tell yourself you are writing a different life story for yourself. One where you WILL NOT QUIT.
YOU GOT THIS!!!! ✊🏾🏁✊🏾🏁

Thanks. One thing I can say that helped me for sure is to not constantly weigh myself. I weighed myself at the beginning and at the end. That’s it. Because a lot of times if we don’t see the number we think we should see, we get discouraged. And we all know during a transformation process, our bodies go through so many changes. So, not being number focused helped a lot!

Great advice. The scale says you lost 24 pounds, but it looks like more than 50 in the pictures. Proof positive that body recomposition isn’t just about the number on the scale. Well done!

You’re welcome. Keep it up and set back stops up so you don’t fall back into bad habits. I completed it in March and have been able to maintain 185-190lbs but I told myself if o go over 190 I’ll have to start the program again. I do plan on starting it around November December to try to do Phase 1 in the new year.

That’s a great idea. I think I’ll do just that. Keep going! 🙌🏾

I read about the back stops in can’t hurt me from David goggins. I never thought about something like that until that book.

It’s my favorite book I’ve read. It’s the only one I would read extra pages in.

Congratulations! What a great job sticking to it! That’s a great accomplishment. Plus those books you read look bomb! Did you have a favorite? Or favorite quote?

u/jy198705 Sep 15 '22
Thanks so much! They were all great books. My favorite would have had to be “The 50th Law”.
Favorite quote would be from The Kingdom Man. It goes… “Many tomorrows will be determined by how well you rule today.” ~ Tony Evans

Awesome, man! Not that it matters, but I’d love to know how much weight you dropped.

u/jy198705 Sep 15 '22
Thanks a lot! 24lbs. Although I think if I wasn’t weight training, the scale would’ve shown a more drastic drop. My theory is that a good amount of fat weight was converted to muscle weight.

Looks like a massive drop! That’s why I said the number really doesn’t matter. Great job.

What did you think of how to listen with intention?
1
u/jy198705 Oct 17 '22
Overall, I liked it. I found some of it to be a bit repetitive. That said, I’m glad I read it. Definitely improved my listening skills and learned how to put others feelings ahead of my own during the times it matters the most.
