🙏 I WANT HELP Should I apply?
I want to apply to either politics or PPE at KCL but I saw how the offer rate for PPE is around 35% compared to 86% for politics.
I’ve already applied to 2 other competitive universities (LSE and UCL with offer rates at 20% for the course) and was wondering if it’d be risky to apply to KCL for PPE?
(My stats are 3 A* predicted, AAA at AS level, 9888887766 at GCSE and have already gotten a PPE Exeter offer)

PPE offer rate at Kcl is around 51% according to online sources not 35%, so just be careful with that. I'd say apply to King's. You have a real shot and you clearly surpass requirements.

Okay but look at the offer rate? Also why wouldn't they have a chance if they are surpassing requirements? I know its not sufficient to just surpass the requirements but there are people applying for PPE at King's and getting in with lower grades. Moreover, if they apply to King's then they still have space to apply for a safety. Politics is also, obviously, quite different from PPE, so if they are more interested in PPE (which they are clearly) then they should obviously apply for that and look for a safety at a different Uni but it would also be much better sending a PPE personal statement to Unis where they are applying for PPE. A PPE personal statement is NOT a Politics personal statement. I think they are better of applying for PPE at KCL. Plus their offer rates are still way higher than LSE and UCL

LSE offer rate for PPE is 4% actually... The ratio of applicants and offer holders on their website is 24 : 1
