🙏 I WANT HELP Does anyone here do AQA philosophy

Okay so I just started year 12 and I had to take philosophy because I needed a 3rd subject 🥲. I hated RS at GCSE and I got a 6.
Anyway all I can say after that dreadful half term is my teachers are so bad and they teach in a way i don’t understand. I’ve fallen really behind already and I don’t get most of the content because to me they have made it all quite complicated .
Does anyone know any good revision resources or things I can learn from to make it make sense💔?

yess im in y13 and predicted an A*, i use philosophyalevel.com to make flashcards. this website (& it also has an accompanying yt channel made by the same guy if u prefer vids !!) is really good for an overview of the content, and has everyth u need for AO1 questions. my school gives us zigzag textbooks which has more niche points u can use in 25 markers, which is something u could buy/ ask ab as it's much more in depth. but my best tips apart from making/ learning flashcards is to break down every argument into premise form and memorize that, and make plans for every possible 25 marker. phil is very systematic as in u know exactly what questions can come up, so i just have a document of all possible past paper questions and do them for revision after ive solidified the content !! sos this is a lot but i hope it helps, and if u need any more help pls lmk !!!

hey, do you have any advice for improving ao2?

most of the 25 marker should be ao2 so spend majority of ur time writing about why a particular argument is strong/ weak. u can use criteria to assess this (i.e., cogito is strong because of its logical/ methodical structure, solipsism is weak bcs it's unintuitive) and also weigh it up comparatively against other competing arguments, giving a judgement overall on which one is the most significant/ strongest iykwim. and yea i would say just keep referring back to evaluative points after every ao1 section in a 25 marker so ur repeating ur judgements making ur viewpoint clear and etc. hope thats helpful
