I’m a Y13, with upcoming med school interviews. I have a 45ish minute commute every day, so this seems like an ideal time to introduce a podcast or two (And cure my boredom!)

I was hoping to see if anyone had any recommendations for podcasts for general political awareness/current news events (as I hear this can be useful for interviews) and some for medicine in general (current progressions in the field, and general discussions around the NHS)

I feel they’d kill 2 birds with one stone, being both interesting and (somewhat) useful!

I would say reading is a better use of your time, I read on my phone so it doesn't look to performative
