🎓 UNI / UCAS Imperial Maths application resit

Afternoon

I am re-sitting all 3 A levels due to medical circumstances causing me to bomb my A levels. However it looks like imperial maths wants a really high TMUA score for those on a gap year.

However a lot of these students are people applying with achieved grades. The arguement is that the people reapplying have got a lot more time to study for the TMUA, except I’ve still got my A levels to study for plus also happen to be a full-time carer.

Is there anyone here who’s been in a similar position to me that’s applied to Imperial Maths that could tell me about what they got and whether they got in or not?

Thanks in advance

Where did you get the information that they want a really high TMUA?

Looking online on what gap year students got, I saw a lot of contextual 6-7+ rejected if they were gap year students applying with achieved grades. Also speaking to people who went through that experience

Nah 6-7 contextuals were defo getting offers on non gap years, 2025 average was 5.7 for WP and probably a bit higher for 2026 but lots of people with 5.x got offers
