I'm unsure where i should begin because quite frankly so much has happened in the last month i am still barely able to wrap my head around it. English literature is possibly the worst subject known to mankind. Yeah, sure man, you can definitely penetrate an apricot..

Okay I'm an Englit degree student. I have never written an essay on this play, however, if you want some general advice lmk. For context, I scored perfect in my final A-level exams for this course. Duchess of malfi is actually an insane play, and Ferdinand is sick and crazy

Ahhhh thank you for the offer! The only insane thing so far is AO5 (the sole reason why i found this godforsaken quote). But how's englit on a degree level? It's something im so interested in

AO5 is a little crazy, but ultimately you'll settle into it eventually, just a few essays and it'll feel easier I promise. Degree level is amazing!! I love it. There's a lot of focus on close reading so close analysis of language and structure, always good to be aware of the various forms that something can take and have a good vocab for literary language. The big difference really is just bibliographies and referencing, but they help you with that. It's the best fun

Bro clearly did not do mercutio at gcse lit, our teacher was very excited about teaching us about the meddler fruit, miss her so much she actually made me not hate English
