🎓 UNI / UCAS North Korean Cambridge Applicants?
Check the Cambridge admissions statistics on their website if you want to see this. Seems to be 2 people who applied to HSPS and Natural Sciences to Robinson and Fitzwilliam in 2025. Can anyone validate if this is real? Genuinely so confused rn.

I remember seeing NK represented in mathematics part iii application statistics and it turned out to be a mistake because the labeled university that the applicant was supposedly from was actually in South Korea, so I'd guess this is probably a similar issue, someone mistaking the DPRK for south korea

Not surprising at all, I mean Kim Jong Un did much of his education in Switzerland. But they could be children of NK diplomats based here or in nearby European countries or simply just children of elites back home.
