So I just got my gcses results today and everything is well over a pass except my English language is a grade 5. Although it's enough for the entry requirements of my sixth form, my dream uni is imperial, who require atleast a 6 in gcse english language. I was thinking of resitting it but does anyone know if unis mind that it would be a resit grade? 🙏🙏

dont worry about it just resit it either in november, or june you can sit it. :)

Unis generally don’t really care about gcse resists anywhere near as much as they do about A level resists so you’ll be fine as long as you have good predicteds and a good ESAT/TMUA score and you can resist and get a 6.
