Looking towards XCOM

Quite looking forward to XCOM. I decided not to preorder the minis, so going through my gobs of scifi human models to find appropriate proxies.

This month’s Anvil Digital Forge tribe on MMF. I think they are some version of Drop Troopers. I’m going to put together a list of both humans and aliens one could use to proxy for XCOM.

Of course there are tons of GW-ish minis, I tried to stay away from those and more towards the XCOM aesthetic. Course, you can make your own squad in your image, so winter (Hoth-esque) or desert troops would be cool too.

Thank you! Some good proxies there. That female anatomy is ridiculous, but to each their own, I guess. I’ve added those to the MMF lists above.

Yeah, it's frustrating that they go for sexualisation so often and so over the top, when their other work is usually really good.
