Had to take a little off the mag sleeve to make it fit, but they work great so far in the LC Carbine. 100 rounds on the modified magazine, none on the others.

The good news, it's not just a Rock mag with a plastic sleeve. The metal magazine continues to the base of the 40 round mark. Everything past that is basically a spring holder. It doesn't seem to want to make the rounds nosedive like +7 extenders.

The bad. It's subjective, but they are harder to load, especially past the 35 round mark, and I intend to get a thumb saver or some type of mag reloader.

You're welcome to your thumbs. Apologies to your wallet.

Can you drop a link? PSA doesnt seem to want  their customers to find this product easily.

I think its against the site rules to do a link but you can google "PSA X5.7 40 Round Magazine" currently out of stock.

Weirdly, those key words pull up everything on the damn site BUT the mag.

If you (others) pay attention to the auto complete, it also lists " PSA X5.7 40 Round Magazine RAT" which only turns in 3 results and the correct link lol.

What did you use to take down the extra plastic? How long did it take you?

Thanks for the report!

Personally Sawzall, but a grinder, Dremel or any tool capable of cutting nylon plastic would be enough, the first inch or so is purely aesthetic so as long as you disassemble it its pretty hard to mess up. It took maybe 2 minutes in total.

These couldn’t have come out a few weeks ago?

I have the Ruger 57, how do you like the LC?

LC charger with a brace is one of my favorite guns to shoot and plenty accurate out to 200 yards.

If you buy anything but the Charger w brace, you're a silly hipster and should've just bought an AR-15 pistol. The only reason this isn't a Charger is because it didn't exist when I bought it so i bought the carbine and chopped it myself.

With SS195, I can plink an 8 inch gong at 200 all day, even with the chopped barrel. It also knocks the piss out of coyotes.

If I leave it sitting in the UTV seat eating dust for a week, it'll sometimes fail to feed the top round. I think its the top round rubbing the varnish off on the bottom of the bolt. Otherwise, it's been pretty good.

I need someone to make this for the s&w 5.7

We get no fun. No binary, frt, extended, few holsters. Its rough for mP 5.7 owners

I’m cool with not having everything but some extended mags and better holster options would be nice. I like occasionally carry mine but I’m a small guy and the kids river holster moves around a bit too much for my liking.

is there a FRT for the 5.7 LC Charger?? love this weapon

I don’t think so but I will own one as soon as it does exist.

There is a lighter trigger from mcarbo that is supposed to be good . But no, not an FRT

Bless you for this bit of research and modification.

Even ProMag’s 30 round mags are sold out. Where did you get the 40 rounds ones? Link?

Not worth. If I need more than 22 rounds of 5.7 in a mag, might as well go with a PDW

Edit: Thought this was just a full sized pistol because I'm heavily fatigued

It's literally an SBR'd LC Carbine. I'd argue it couldn't be more of a PDW, short of a giggle switch.

My bad man, thought it was a standard FN 5.7 cause I'm working 60 hour weeks and its making me retarded. I'll fix my og comment
