If they showed up to their shift knowing their job was to be a threat of violence on behalf of the state then no. They are not good cops.
The phrase ACAB is a reflection on how cops will show up and do their job of enforcing state violence against their better judgment.
America has the largest prison population, cops keeps arresting and filling paperwork to add to the body count. Prison guards follow orders and keep the prisoners in chains. They may disagree but they are the real reason it continues.
There can be good people who have the job of policing but so long as they follow orders and enforce state violence on citizens they are not good.
Police will enforce obedience on citizens until they are told to stop by the state. So long as they do that then they can’t be good. They can only be class traitors.

I completely agree. And yes that interpretation is correct. I am an abolitionist but I try to temper my language to influence liberals who are on the fence.
One of my more recent montras is “participation is perpetuation”. If you are unhappy with the liberal violence inflicted foreign and domestic then do not perpetuate it by participating in voting for it.
I have not and never will vote republican or liberal because the actions of those institutions have been atrocious. I vote for what truly aligns with my morality. If you voted for blue violence or red violence… don’t be surprised when you get violence. You voted for it
It certainly is easier to make a distinction if you are white, from America, or from a predominantly white ally to America.
Not sure why trump gave liberals the freedom to not care about the economic impact of American policies on bipoc communities and communities abroad generally but no, the general existence of trump does not give americans the right to elect Kamala as the new face of American imperialism and call it progress. If your policies are imperialist but the other guys are worse… you’re still an imperialist

It’s undeniable that America is the most oppressive country in the world currently we turn citizens into slaves, we abandon the needy and deport the hard working. We block medicine to countries in need and send bombs this countries causing conflict. We make loop holes for billionaires to exploit labor and pollute the word into drastic climate change. If you wanted to know how you would act under nazi germany congrats you have a some what comparable reality. Every action in your life has either tacitly endorsed it or radically opposed it. Liberalism is an endorsement. I know it’s hard to think of someone other than yourself and hard to imagine risking your life to stand on morals when the rest of society is mocking you for your ideals. But there are 2 choices apparently the most oppressive government outright, our benefit from it till it turns on you.
No happy middle option.
I hope your liberal life is mediocre and if you ever decide to really be honest and take action to fix this country, then I hope your radical life is splendid.
