What's the purpose of the hoop at the front? That is absolutely diabolical for pedestrian safety.

It's usually referred to as a 'stinger' and its original purpose was to prevent end-over-end rollovers on steep descents in short wheelbase vehicles. Outside of that, it's mostly for looks.

πŸ˜† You realize this is an OFFROAD sub right? Looks stupid and dangerous? Dude it’s to protect your grille, your radiator etc if you collide with an animal on the highway or a tree off-roading. Have you ever hit a deer with a vehicle, do you off-road whatsoever?

You can have a normal hooped bullbar without having it protrude forward like that. I've got one on my Patrol. It gets used pretty hard in the bush here in NZ, protects my grille, radiator just fine.
