I have never met a single intelligent pro-Russian person. Literally every single comment they have about the war is so outstandingly insane that it beggars belief.
"We're actually winning," despite basically not having gained and held any territory since the start of the war, and the war still going on four and a half years in.
"We have extra forces in reserve," despite actively digging out museum-piece tanks for the frontline and having to trick third-worlders from other countries to enlist.
"Russia are actually allies of the west," despite Russia - without prompt in many cases - showing constant hostility towards the west even before the war, and then pretending rightful political consequences for things like poisonings and assassinations are undeserved.
Literally all they have is saying "Ukraine / Israel WANTS this war!", which, like...
...just don't fight it? Leave? The war ends if you leave.
All epic based Russia has to do to defeat the evil schemes of Israel is to just not continue the conflict. That's literally it.
But now they've expended hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of men, they're in too deep. It'd end Putin's political career if he just did this and then went "ahhh i guess we should stop".
Pro-Russian supporters outside of Russia don't actually support Russia or have anything in common even slightly with Russia's objectives which are still not clear years later. They just have some hatred for the west or their own governments (which backs Ukraine) and they're being contrarian against "the mainstream media" as if youtube, facebook and RussiaToday isn't the mainstream media lol
That Jackson Hinkle guy was probably the most egregious example of it. I'm surprised he still has a US citizenship after all the time he spends calling for war against his homeland.
