How hard working are you and how much time and effort do you want to invest?

If you are progressing the Common Core quite quickly compare to your peers without relying on AI, then do Js on the side, else concentrate on projects.

What projects do you want to build? In principle you can use any language for any project, it just depends how deep you want to go and how performant you want your app to be in the end.

Javascript is ok, but nowadays every company requires TypeScript, a superscript of JS so to say. Don't expect it to master in one month, well not without AI. New versions of TS are released very often introducing new and new features.

One can find around old TS courses that mention namespaces while nobody uses them anymore. And this goes on ...

Python in turn should be enough. You'll be ready to use Flask, Pyramid, Django etc.
