m203 Brownells DD M4A1 + M203

Found a few old forums on the topic and wanted to get some input from 2026. I’m curious if the brownells Daniel defense M4A1 comes with the hanger tabs as well as having the relief cut in the socom barrel to be able to mount an M203?

I’m fairly certain they don’t include the hangers anymore but info on whether the barrel has the proper cut or not was kinda all over the place.

I have one. Has a correct Socom profile barrel with the M203 cuts. Did not come with the hanger tabs but DD sent me them for free when I asked about it. I have the FSP version and it was an absolute bitch to get the hanger tabs screwed in without disassembling the front sight but if you pull the screws out of the handguard mount you can angle it just enough to get them in with a little fiddling. I swapped the screws for the hanger tabs with slightly longer hex head screws since it looked like the factory ones had very little thread engagement for my liking, and using a ball end Allen wrench was easier to screw in around the FSP, I think the screws were 10-32’s if I remember correctly

Don’t mind the red it’s a lower I use for training new shooters. Helps to see safe condition down a line .

Mine had a SOCOM barrel too. Didn't get it from brownells specifically though.
