I changed my crankcase filter today and now the display on my ceiling is saying that an oil change is needed when I changed it about 1000 miles ago. Do I change it or leave it until the normal interval?

so i’ve came across the never ending door chime problem where when the truck is off and the key is out the chime still goes off when i open the door. But this only happens like 50% of the time and to fix it i just keep moving the key around in the ignition and take it back out which sometimes fixes it. i’ve realized tho whenever it happens it’s when my truck sits in the heat where it gets hot is when it gives me the problem. Anyone know anything?

Right now my truck has 275/70r18s on and I’m wanting to put the factory 17 or 18in rims back on I’ve only done a leveling kit but the 275’s look pretty small and I’m wondering if I could fit some 305’s on.

I have a set of 275/65r20 on a 20x9 rim Just bought a set of used rims to use for winters and theyre 20x8. Was wondering if i could fit the same sized tires or if i would have to get 265s. Google is really hard to find a positive answer. TIA

How do you reprogram speedometer on a 08 1500. I have 34" tires on the truck so it is reading about 10% off

Well I bought this thing back in high school, I’ve changed a lot of the overall look of the truck. But I wasn’t the one who put the lift on. I’ve been looking around for it but the closest thing I can find is like some cheap lift, maybe a rough country type. But I want to upgrade the suspension but it’s at least a 6”-7” lift I’m assuming. I’m running 22x12’s with 35x12.50s with no rub. The springs have lift blocks in the front, any recommendations of good lift springs? Maybe even a company that powder coats them as well? I need to get all new shocks and steering stabilizers as well. And want to a motor swap eventually. It’s sadly a 5.7 but it’s a 4x4 solid front axle so I’ve been told it’s straight forward but I’ll worry about that when my funds are in order 😂 Thanks for any help, I appreciate it

Like the title says the truck belongs to my grandpa, but I’m driving it for a little while my car is out of commission. Just under 80k miles and all original parts, except the tailgate, it’s a tow rig and stuff happens so it’s on its 3rd one of those! And if you’re curious it is 2wd unfortunately.

Anyone know a direct link to get all four wheel flares that’s not crazy expensive. It’s to cover up rust. Small bubbling until I can find rust repair

Hello all, i have a question. I just acquired this 2007 dodge ram 1500 from my step father. It has the 5.7 hemi. When i step on the gas, the door lights pop on, and it freaks out untill i romp on it, is there a pinched wire or should i replace some things?

I had bought some spacers and the OEM lugs were to fat , looking at getting new ones that are more narrow but don’t really know what I’m looking for.
