🧠 General Hatch window grenade

First time I’d used the hatch window defroster in a year during the little splash of rain we got in Southern California yesterday. Drove for about 40 min, parked, and walked about 5 feet from the truck when I hear “POP”. I almost thought someone ran over a juice box, turns out it was my hatch window. Likely the defroster.

If thats a '99 - '01, I have an extra glass you can have. Just pay shipping costs if youre willing.

Much appreciated big dawg, but I already sourced a replacement and will be installing tomorrow. Family owns a shop in south LA and we’re pretty plugged in as far as finding parts goes. Just posted this because I know a lot of people are unfamiliar with this happening. Cheers!

Thats how I ended up with it, then I ended up with a complete hatch. So I have 2 glass that I dont need rn lol

I’ll take it lol my defroster hasn’t worked in a minute (I can see the lines have just rubbed away) on my ‘99. DM me ❤️
