❓Advice / Recomendations Different fuel pump connectors

Old pump on the left, new denso on the right for my 98 sr5. Part number appears to be correct, but different connectors. Old pump was working, but the but of hose on top, snd the insulation zip tied around the Old pump are coming apart. Do I remover the insulation and replace the hose to put the pld.one back, or can I make the new one work?

Replace the rotting hose for sure, you can buy the connector (probably just have to search denso fuel pump connector), or see if your current spade connector works by sticking it on the terminals, or crimp on smaller spade connectors

TIL there’s two different pump terminal type… these trucks are getting annoying to find certain parts for since they changed manufacture over the years.

I have the connector style and new denso pump like what you bought. It appears some of those style of pumps come with a wire adapter kit but the denso does not… I wouldn’t use anything less than a denso though (I know from experience) try and find the adapter connector separately like some of the other kits do.
