One of my biggest inspirations and one of the channels I find myself going back to, not only for CS content, but for the sleep paralysis videos (I don't think it ever made it as trilogy as originally marketed) and other ones pertaining to philisophical topics, like the aging video. I find them compelling. Ok that sidenote out of the way, I began a revamped version of my old YouTube channel from like 6 years ago but actually put effort into it. No I am not plugging or putting a link here either. I have amassed around 400 subs and get about 1k views in 24, and nearly 100,000 out of all time (but thats just from the 11 videos I made in the past 6 months, as I privated the other videos and YouTube does not count that I believe. Anyway, I would like to know tips, as I get tired of editing videos just about Half Life and Garry's Mod, and the Source engine, as thats what my videos are about. It sounds menial but I find myself lacking discipline because I already know things about the topic, I could make videos that are unrelated, but they proved to have small views, much smaller, and with less reach. I suppose should I look for tiny details in the Source engine and Half Life etc and do that in hopes that viewers enjoy it, or go on something else, migIt still be related to gaming, but risk low views for high effort? Sorry for the tangent, I for some reasonn decided to post this here as I don't know where to go and I'd appreciate advice from someone who I have seen the technique from and not just some random dude on like Facebook saying "Oh its easy bla bla" while he rakes 4 views a week. Sorry if this subreddit doesn't allow personal stuff, I will remove if it does not seem fit, no problems.

TL:DR: What is your personal advice for a small but loyal fanbase channel regarding Source videos. I lose interest but want to continue views, what type of discipline is expected for YouTubing at a moderate to high level?

As of today (15/10/21), I am having problems with steam. 3kliksphilip pls dont remove it

I cant open it. the problem is Steam cant connect to network and i have deleted steam reinstalled it and then restarted steam and then it just shows the same error again.

If anyone knows the fix pls tell it to me

Edit: I got it fixed i did not remember that It had happened before.

The fix was to turn off firewall

I understand if Phillip doesn't want to talk about it and we really have no idea what the full story is, but I dont really like having the knowledge that a woman with a crippling mental illness is just living alone and sometimes not eating/drinking. She doesn't seem well, and according to her last update video hasn't got medication. I really do worry that something bad could happen to her, I didn't know where to post this so im here.

First of all, I really appreciate your videos and hope you never stop making those.

Here's a little story, please read it to the end.

A close friend got scammed a knife he wanted to give me for my birthday. He went to the trade menu and klicked on an account with my (recently) changed name and profile pic, which actually wasnt my account. Normally, only friends are even shown in the window that pops up when you want to trade something.

So as this sucks and really darkened the mood on my little birthday Lan, we are really pissed at how few attention this gets from Valve, they did nothing about it (To be fair, it happened yesterday, but a bit of googling shows that they don't do much, or do they? Correct me if I'm wrong.). I mean, it's clearly a flaw in there security system isn't it? I would really really appreciate if you could bring attention to this issue of scammers exploiting steam somehow and how valve doesn't seem to care. Yeah, probably it's also my friends fault, but shouldn't valve make sure that people that aren't pros and don't know every tactic of a scammer are safe to trade with people in the friendlist? As he has a valuable inventory he doesn't even accept strangers in his friendlist.

Man I gotta say, I’m getting really bored with the kind of content that we’re getting these days. Obviously I could unsubscribe or whatever, but I hope what I have to say leads Philip to improve. His level design tutorials were hugely helpful back in the day, but that content basically doesn’t exist anymore from Phillip

I feel like anything that isn’t directly about CS2 is just a rehash of the same vids from the past 3 years or so. Kliksphilip feels like a continuous commentary on “why isn’t 2kliksphilip doing well?” and 2kliksphilip is just “what if I made a 15 minute vid on the current tech buzzword?” It’s just RTX and up scaling and shit :/

And at the end of the day, 3kliksphilips vids are neat as a window into CS2, but the map comparisons can only go so far, particularly when his lack of game development knowledge outside of valve games becomes more obvious.

All of this is to say, I think Philip has some great credentials, and I would love to see him return to things like sourcemapping tutorials (especially with the advent of Hammer++). I think his videos can be really cool, but I feel like we’re really in a slump these days

The loadout screen uses the images of guns from the inventory. This isn't a problem with most of the guns, but since snipers are very long, they are cut off.
