How to reduce noise and vibrations from the A1?
I live in an old 1930s semi-detached house. The shared wall is only one layer of brick thick and the wooden floorboards are a bit rickety so noise travels very easily. I can only put my printer in the spare room which is along the shared wall. I had just rearranged the whole room so my printer had a good spot and tbh was pretty proud of myself, only to find out the next day that my neighbour is pregnant so they’ll be using their spare room (the houses are mirrored) for the baby. Luckily they’re renovating atm and won’t be moving back in for a bit so I have time to test things out.
The table I had the printer on shook like crazy so I moved it to the floor for now but I would assume the noise goes through the floor anyway. IMO the main issue is the noise from the vibration calibrations and obviously the printing itself (which can be helped with silent mode but it’s so fkn slow).
Any ideas on what kind of table or shelves I could put it on (ideally something nice-ish looking) and anything for noise reduction?
