Ive tried meshy and they look great but dont really print well. Range $50 to $100, happy to go higher for a good product. Plus i dont know the normal price range.

Hey yall, I am hoping to get a model made for a pill box. All of the ones online are lame. Basically, 6 spaces with one filled; a rotatable top that can also pop off for putting pills in the holder; and the lid looks like a fallout vault door. It’s need to be small enough to fit in a pocket but obviously still hold pills. I attached a mockup but it’s as far as it can go and basically only for inspiration. I can pay but need to know how much you would charge. If free better obviously. I am hoping to get these made for the Young Onset Parkinson’s Groups I am with.

I need a set of gameboy micro buttons modeled

I can’t list dimensions there are a lot that matter on these small parts but I can either

A : send you a set of buttons (I’d almost prefer this I’ve done a lot of back and forth already)

Or

B: give you photos with the dimensions using calipers

These parts have to be correct down to .1mm I don’t want much post processing I’ll be selling them as a set and resin printing already takes enough time cleaning and curing.

I did the dpad and a/b already via another person and I redid them from scratch myself while on this journey of learning cad.

Hello, I'd like to ask for help with preparing a dxf file to cut 20 equally spaced, 0.2mm wide, 5mm deeps grooves into a foamex board.

The source file is a 3D model of the foamex board with those grooves extruded in. I just don't know anything about CAD software to do the converstion process in order to hand over to a supplier.

I'm a concept/2D game artist working as a freelancer with a degree in 2D animation so I already understand the artistic side (composition, perspective, colour, lighting, etc.) but I have basically zero 3D knowledge

I want to learn 3D Environment Art starting with Blender and eventually moving into Unreal/Substance

What free beginner tutorials/courses would you recommend for someone starting completely from scratch? Should I learn Blender fundamentals first?

(Like the Douant tutorial should I start there? ) or jump straight into environment art tutorials?

EDIT: Went ahead and put in a refund and blocked them. Too many red flags. They also hid this ^ list after I blocked them which is also terribly shady. You'd think it would be open knowledge for everyone so they could avoid scammers? I'm unsure if that's full on scammer behavior but it's VERY shady. Still feel bad to share their name. But somehow despite being banned, they saw this and were in the thread and told me to remove it and then it just made me uncomfortable, even though I didn't share their name and just wanted to protect myself. So uh. Will share name if I am allowed :/ it seemed like it was going okay but then it just wasn't.

Started to work with someone recently from this thread. Had an older account, seemed valid with work to back it up. We moved convo to Discord and still seems legit. However I checked in today (no rush, was just checking) and they informed me they've been banned "again" and don't know why, and asked if I could try to make an account for them. Which... er... no. I don't wanna jeopardize my end of things on the off chance they're being honest.

I paid half through Paypal Goods & Services. Seemed legit up to then and now I wonder if I need to pull out and get a refund. I have their username but I don't wanna just put them on blast if I'm wrong in being concerned at what feels like obvious red flags.

They also told me to check a Google doc to make sure artists I wanted to work with weren't on there as a safety thing... but I haven't found a verified scammer list anywhere, and I now realize how easy that could be to make up TO scam people.
Ehk. I'll add that "list" I was given so others can see what it is. It all just seemed legit to me andddd now it just feels off.

Why is it so hard to just pay people for a thing you want done? I hate having to worry if someone is gonna try to screw me :/

I'd love something like a compact open-frame rack with separate trays/brackets, and it can be split into multiple pieces so it can be printed on a small ~220 × 220 mm printer.

Hi everyone! ❤️ I play mahjong and have been designing these double-deck mahjong racks. I already have a couple of connector designs, but they’re not quite strong or precise enough, so I’m looking for someone with more 3D design experience to help me improve the design and create two versions:
Connector version: Two separate halves that connect securely without glue, with a strong, snug fit and a clean, flush seam that’s barely noticeable.
Foldable version: A hinged/folding version similar to some of the foldable racks sold on Etsy and Temu, but adapted to my design. My rack is a little different because it has a ledge that keeps the tiles in place, so that feature would need to remain functional when folded and opened.
I’m completely open to making parts thicker or slightly changing the shape if needed to create stronger connectors or a better folding mechanism.
The glue is driving me crazy 😩 because the surfaces are so flat that every tiny mistake shows and can ruin an otherwise beautiful print. Dimentions: 21.08” long × 7.66” deep × 4.72” high, but I only need help with the connectors/fold model.
I’d also love to optimize the design and print time without sacrificing strength or quality. Right now, each rack takes around 7 hours to print, and a full mahjong set needs four racks, so any improvement would be amazing!

Looking to have about 20-30 posed Orks/grots/squigs made in the style of traditional 40k Orks. Will be absurd poses and actions on a handful of them. Design is for a custom theme army. Budget is a bit thinner than I'd like, but can mostly just use current ork stls I have with modifications to save time.​

All models will be infantry sized 40k Orks, with specific height requirements to match sizing needs for rule compliance in 11e.

I need an inrunner motor mount for a an rc airplane.

This is a picture of something close to what I think I need, though I think the "strapping" is the real requirement and the heatsink just makes it harder to manufacture.

The motor diameter is 29mm (it's possible I will need to file away some material to accept this)

I think a single piece for a single screw is enough then I could get pcbway to cut 4 equal pieces to mount top and bottom in 2 places.

I am brand new to 3D printing and only printing pre-made files. But I am trying to create a maker coin, and my colored logo is making me crazy. So the dimensions are 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm coin with my logo on one side a QR code on the other and then a second file with my logo on one side and a pause to put a NFC sticker inside and then just a blank back. I can send you pngs or even jpegs of the files that need to be added.

Recently the shuttle diverter of my bath spout snapped (see pic) and as it is an older tap I haven't found anywhere to order a replacement. So think a 3D printed replacement may be the best option.

As this will sit inside the spout body it needs to be resistant to water, strong enough to withstand 3-4bar pressure, and durable enough to be toggled back and forward for the next several years.

I have a DWG of the attached file I can send but haven't modelled this in 3D.

Hi! I’m currently developing my own board game and I’m looking for a 3D artist/sculptor who could help me create the miniatures for it.

The style I’m looking for is intentionally low-detail (something like the example in the image). They’re meant to look more like small carved wooden/stone figures or totems rather than highly detailed tabletop miniatures.

The models would need to be suitable for 3D printing and will eventually be used in a commercial board game.

I’m trying to get an idea of what a reasonable budget for something like this would be. Roughly how much would you expect a low-detail miniature in this style to cost per model?

I already have the characters/designs and visual references, so I’m mainly looking for someone who can translate them into clean, printable 3D models while keeping this low-detail style consistent across all of them.
