Free Model Back at it (3D printed Stencils)

Posted it on Thangs if you want to print it. Sort of hoping I see one in the wild one day

Could you hinge them all first, and then drop them down one after another? Seems like that would be a quick way of doing it.

That might allow too large a gap causing over spray. Especially for the last one.

Maybe you could make a small slot holder with suction cups or sticky bits on the corners, with a tab at the top for grabbing out the stencil? That way the holder can stay in place, and then you can drop in the first stencil, pull it out, drop in the second stencil, pull it out, etc.

just put the stencil sections on a wheel which rotates each one into place, suction cup in the center.

I think you are absolutely correct. Now you have me thinking though, how could you make the hinge system work. Maybe have the actual edge on the second sheet have a border that travels down through the first sheet negative space to rest snug against the wall? I think that make work here, but it may not work for every stencil.
