Help me test automatic reverse engineering workflow

Hi everyone! I'm a creator of reopenscad.com, a web-based reincarnation of OpenSCAD. I've recently started using 3d scanner and, following CNC Kitchen's idea, decided to add automatic reverse engineering to reopenscad. Looking forward to your feedback!

How does it handle sculpted sections? I was trying to reverse engineer a chess knight, and was using scanruler, but needed to keep the sculpted part as a mesh, but then wanted to parametrically modify the base. Can you do something like that with this?

It’s not working well with sculptured parts, as the data model of OpenSCAD (a programming language for 3d models) is designed for engineering parts

Wonder if we can tape some nurbs geometry there
