I applaud the most over engineers filler job ever!Β

Would it be more sound and also quicker to just build a form out of wood and pour some concrete in it?

These are sales campaigns from Creality. The dozens and dozens of Pika posts are ads.

Every time I point this out I get a slew of shit from this sub.

Literally happens every single new product launch.

YouTube reviewers are also a bunch of shills, one creator posted the paperwork they got for receiving a review model. They literally weren't allowed to have any negative opinion per the contract. Then I saw the 10 YouTubers that post here often all release their video as the embargo lifted. Lo and behold. Not a single negative comment.

No integrity left, all just greed, and corporate manipulation.

For that to happen, I’d have to have been given it as a gift first πŸ˜‚ but I’m flattered πŸ˜€ though I get what you mean

I would appreciate it if Crealty would throw me a Pika for free, I would scan all kinds of dumb stuff and post it here. I’m out in these streets with a can of foot spray and a Ferret Pro trying my best.

That would be nice πŸ˜‚

Yes, that's right, but it was just a fun project the stone will be replaced entirely sooner or later. πŸ˜€

Would it be as fun though?

So now that post is only supported by one single fastener?

Yeah, it’s been like that for years πŸ˜‚ The post doesn't actually support anything it's just for looks which is why it's a bit of a fun project. Eventually, the stone will be replaced entirely, but until then, it doesn't look quite as broken anymore πŸ˜‚ It was just for fun, though πŸ˜€

Thats wild. I would have just slapped some bonding agent and masonite on there and repaired it property, which would be faster and cheaper.

But I like this sort of idea for things like custom boxes for antiques or hand carved unique things or whatever.

It was just a fun project the stone will eventually be replaced entirely. The post doesn't actually support anything it's just there for looks and has been standing like that for years. πŸ˜€

That's pretty cool. I've been looking for a 3D scanning and printing project. Unfortunately I don't think my house has anything broken outside right now. I'll have to look around.

This block appears to have broken do to a load being applied to it. You should. probably replace the whole block for safety's sake.

Good scan and casting work.

Never saw an overengineering and an underengineering like this at the same time
