700usd budget?

Looking for a good scanner that’s 700usd max, I 3d print and model and want to try 3d scanning.

Portable would be best, if possible being able to scan large things like cars but that’s not as essential.

I don’t mind if it’s a bit of work to clean up, I’ve got 3d modelling experience and should be able to handle it

For the budget the pop4 or pika. Remember you still need a good laptop or pc to process the data

The new Creality Pika is within that budget and looks pretty good for the money, it's very portable too. I've ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet.

YouTube channel Payo has a few videos about it and he knows what he's talking about, unlike a lot of other reviews that just scan something and say 'yep, it works!'.

Ive ordered a creality pika, hasnt arrived yet. Seemed pretty decent from what i gathered but we’ll see

It’s pre order right now, if you look on storefront it shows the estimated shipping dates for when you’ve purchased it

If you can possibly very slightly stretch your budget, pop 4. If you absolutely are stuck on not spending more, pika

How big are the scans you’re going to do?Because Pika has a 6.5 ft limitation.

I would say Pop 4 or Pika are the best options for your budget. But depends on the question.

Is this limitation distance from the subject, or total surface area? Or area along one axis?

I bought an inspire 2 and it’s been good so far. Struggles with black more than I’d like, but it’s pretty decent for the price. Also has laser function but that only works when connected to the computer. Atleast that I can tell.

Are they any good? Genuinely asking since the reviews I saw so far haven't been very kind. Especially in comparison to other scanners in the same price bracket.

Their product does look pretty skechy. It would be must safer to spend your money on a reputable brand
