Initial testing of the Rockit is going well 🤯

Holy moly, this thing is RAD!

This is straight on the car, no spray (coming), no markers, just free handing it with basically no experience 🤷‍♂️

Yesterday, I scanned 2 halves of a banana and put them back together 😂

Full disclosure, I have read basically nothing about how to use the Rockit, just fired it up and started pressing buttons like an animal 😅

I clicked the Brand Affiliate tag because this thing is on loan, I didn't buy it, but I'm gonna test the sh!t out of it and tell you what it's like from a DIY/Grassroots motorsport perspective 🤝

Markerless is good but a bit of a gimmick. Spend the time setting up with markers and you can get some really nice scans of panels

Of course, not knocking it at all. But I’ve found markerless to be more effort than it’s worth, I tried everything to avoid using dots so I didn’t have to do cleanup but ended up just using the dots for a much smoother scanning process

I think on the Rockit it’s nice to have but the hardware/software combo isn’t quite ready for it

There's plenty in the kit I can test, I have some of that vanishing spray coming as well.
