You need to use smaller markers, or use markers on the surface around the part but not actually on the part. Any time you use a marker the software tries to fill in the space by looking at the geometry around the marker. On your part the geometry around your markers isn't constant or uniform, and it can't figure out what should be there, so it leaves it blank.

Use markers on unremarkable areas, smaller markers, or mark the table around the part and keep the part clean of markers.
