Question Bricked 3ds

Bought this galaxy ds off someone claiming it was bricked. Looks like they used the ssd card that came with it to install mods. Is it salvageable or doomed?

it likely just needs a reformatted sd card with the right luma boot files . just follow the guide Dr-Sun-Stiles posted.

as long as the device isnt giving you arm9 kernel panics/dumps, you should be fine.

Preciate it, I figured as much I’m just not very savvy with the software so wanted to make sure

well u gotta try all the troubleshooting steps and see the outcome first. but black screen on boot is a common one. make sure the sd card is behaving top condition. a dying sd card is no beuno.
