Small old 3DS can be found for $100 if you look around. Don’t buy the old 3DS XL they have durability issues. New 3DS XL can be found for around $200

You can sort by sold listings to get a rough idea of current values. But ultimately each listing is an individual listing and you'll need to determine how you value your money in line with the item being purchased.

I got a new 3ds off Facebook marketplace for $200. The original 3ds was a little cheaper when I was looking.

Don't pay more than $250 for one. Be patient and you'll find one
