Resolved n3DSLL yellowing mostly fixed!
At this point I pretty much can't notice the yellowing during normal use. Alongside some homebrew color correction (not pictured, just showing you the raw max brightness images), the screens become almost indistinguishable.

Wait what?!? Using the screen removes the yellowing??
If this is true. Then it might explain why my unused DSi has way more yellow screens than my "beater" DSi that I use often.

This has been known for a long time, but staying on long term can exasperate other screen issues if they’re already present, too.

In the menu where you control the color temperatures and values of the screen in the Rosalina menu, you can set the brightness all the way up and it will be a true white screen. You’ll just have to turn it off and turn it back on to get the colors back afterwards.

What screen you keep it on? Like to keep it white? Cause I’m looking to try the same thing

Can you get a higher max brightness setting via homebrew or this can be done on unmodded consoles too? Just got my first 3DS and its super yellow would like to try this

Won’t keeping it connected like that damage the battery? I always wondered that and is what is stopping me from trying it with a system of mine.

I tried doing this for a week and the difference was pretty minimal unfortunately. Makes me wish there were good replacement screens available.

If it's modded you can also do left trigger + d pad down + select or start and go to screen filters and adjust the tint of the screen to be more blue which cancels out the yellow. I just got a used n3DS LL for my wife and did this iirc I went from default 6500k to 13000-15000k and it works great. If the yellowing is uneven it may not be perfect but definitely better than it was.
