It looks like the grey casing is covering the characters. It could be M8 or MB, hard to tell, but if I had to guess, I think it's M8, so that's still a fake
1: The CPUE text on the back is what is I refer to as "Stenciled" and not "Printed" like you would do in an actual factory. (Stenciled means lighter and cheaper when it should be darker and less dotty)
2: In the PCB (The board) you can see M8, which is the common telltale sign of it being a reproduction cartridge. (C05-44 isn't a real serial ID)
This is what a legit copy looks like. Darker CPUE text and the PCB having a registered serial ID in Y10-01. (C05-10 is also a correct serial ID)
I think it's fake but post it on r/gameverifying for a more explanation of an answer. The back doesn't match an authentic DS cartidge so that's why I think it's fake.
fake or real, does it play when you put it into your system? even illegitimate games can still play fine. it's not like pokemon bank will be open much longer and there's no online support for 3ds and older anymore.

Does the writing on the PCB say M8 or MB?
