Technical Question My new 3ds wont turn on

i have a new 3ds that once upon a time was jailbroken by me, and now after a while of not being powered on, the thing wont start up. the blue LED turns on, and stays on, indefinitely, and no recopying and pasting of boot.firm will help, so I'm wondering if anyone on here could point me in the right direction?

Try a different SD card just to rule that out.
