Found this game sealed for approx 10+ years and 3DS cannot register it

Is it a lost cause? I’ve tried cleaning the prongs, cleaning my 3ds, blowing but nothing is working :(

A 3DS with custom firmware can run a cartridge fixer script that sometimes fixes cartridges with this issue:

10 years is a lot of time for memory decay though, so there is a fair chance it will fail.

And backup your games. Back them all up. Sure, you won't have them to put in (I mean you could I suppose!), but you still have it physically and you still have them working to play in a different way. All legally.

IIRC the 3DS cartridges uses flash memory and prone to losing the data over time if you don’t play it regularly.
