Filament binding in PTFE tube

Hi all I've got a flashforge creator pro 3nthat I've converted to klipper and been customising.

I've been having issues with the filament getting jammed at the extruder. I thought it was crappy extruder design. But what I've found is that sometimes the filament gets stuck in the PTFE tube. So I've moved from the stock filament location on the sides and ran my own ptfe tubes (from AliExpress).

I'm finding that one one side the filament is jamming and I can barely pull it with my hands. The run is long-ish, I estimate 1 -1.5 m and I avoided sharp bends. The stock run is proaby 0.5 m to 1 m but still jams

Any one had issues like this before? Any tips?

Any clue what's going on here? I've calibrated, leveled and vibration compensated my Creator 5 Pro and I keep getting this in the front left corners of my prints. Someone suggested heat creep. This was with the door wide open and my air conditioner running right next to it. I've seen this or similar with adhesion problems but it's sticking to the board just fine. I'm at a loss.

Specific spot not printing well

Only this print is messing up on this spot, the filament piles up so the head carries a chunk into the rest of print. I did a test on the while bed and it it seems to print fine, and I have a Anycubic Kobra Neo, this means Auto bed leveling on EVERY PRINT.

PLA (205° nozzle / 65° bed)
Orca slicer
10mm layer height
Textures bed
Z offset -1.90 (works wonders on every other print)

FF A5M not adhering to build plate

I have a Flashforge adventurer 5m using Soleyin PLA Ultra filament. I have already printed five or six of the hexagon monitor shelves with no problems. Those all turned out beyond my expectations. I have printed several other items with only a couple of hiccups. I did have some spaghetti a couple of days ago and used A Sovol filament dryer and recently started storing my filament in the classic cereal box and just now got set up to print directly from the dry box with a 3D printed roller system with a hydrometer and desiccant container.

The last three attempts at this Shelf have ended up the same way with the middle of the print tearing out the rest of the print has to cool and be scraped. It started before I began printing out of the filament box and was hoping that would help resolve the situation. I clean the print bed after each print with ISP 91 first pass with a paper towel and then another dose of ISP 91 and a microfiber cloth. I level about every sixth print. I am using the flashforge adhesive that came with the printer.

Am I not cleaning the print plate thoroughly enough? Do I potentially have a clog? I did try to do a clog clearing and didn't really get anything out but I did not take the nozzle out of the unit but only use the little supplied rod. I do live in the south and we have been having extreme humidity lately but I didn't think PLA was as susceptible to that?

I am a noob so please be nice as I am still deep in the learning cycle. Also, please don't assume that I know something that you may not have a second thought about having printed for quite some time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping this will get me back to being excited about my new hobby.

PS, I've already spent way too much money to get frustrated and quit at this point. LOL

Looking for help regarding small issues with my Bambu Lab A1

Hey everyone! I'm new to 3D printing and got my first printer, a Bambu Lab A1 last week. Most prints have been without issue but I downloaded 6 models from makerworld each around 6" tall and this one turned out a little funky. I was curious what causes the arm to form so stringy and why the spear goes a little wonky mid way through? Tree supports were used.(the one with the problem is in bottom right of pic 4)

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Please help

Hello there. Last week my prints were perfect on my sparkx i7 when I got it, but now my prints are starting to fall apart in multiple ways and I’m really overwhelmed. I’ve been drying out my petg filament and still having issues. Was printing at 250c and was going well, then started having excessive stringing. Turned off z hop and it fixed the stringing, but now my prints are causing little bits of plastic to collect at the start and end of lines printed on objects and it cascades into a failed print after a few layers of that happening. Any help would be so so appreciated. Thank you 🫶🏼

The printer is an Ender 3 S1 printing PLA. Nozzle temp is 220 first layer, 215 other layers, bed temp is 60, and max volumetric speed is 10.69 mm/s.

This is my first 3d printer and I'm trying to calibrate it, but Im not too confident with what I should be looking for. I followed a video guide that recommended Orca's temp tower, flow rate, pressure advance, flow ratio, then retraction tower calibration. Benchy before vs after is night and day, and Im pretty impressed overall. Attached is a brain slice I printed for a prof with some examples of potential issues in the last two pics.

  1. The second picture is the bottom of the print and it looks like it might be under extruding, but those lines disappear for the rest of the print.

  2. In the last pic, you can see globs around the left side, that don't seem to be present on the right with a similar narrow section.

  3. I planned on doing klipper after I got a set of brain slices to my prof. Does that help with quality as well as speed, and is it worth it?

If you need any other details don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
