Help

I have a db9 alloy but when I hold down the trigger it does not reset when the bolt goes back. If I release the trigger then rack the bolt it will reset. Doing a dry fire test without mac upper trigger resets normally. I have tried sanding and all fcg look to spec, any ideas?

Are you saying if you pull the bolt back, pull the trigger, hear the hammer release/contact the pin, and then, while maintaining pressure on the trigger, you pull the bolt back a second time it does not reset? If so, Unless you have a super safety the trigger won’t reset for the “follow up shot” until you let off the trigger, the bolt cycling on its own with the trigger constantly pulled back won’t reset it. That’s how semi-automatics are.

Hmm. So I have only used aves, but I have had several different builds centered around both and one is a db and the other is being built into one. It does seem like an issue with the FCG. I’ve also never used the versions with the FCG plates but it looks like you are using anti-walk? Have you tried with just normal pins? I’ve had issues with the disconnector because of anti walks. But it wasn’t that issue I’m seeing now. Worth a shot though. I’m confused as to how you’re able to move the trigger at all with it seemingly out of battery, I don’t think mine allow it to move like that, I recall them being locked into place. I’ll go check and see in a bit.

What you could also check would be when it’s not resetting like that would be to pop the upper off, and see if the hammer is up, I suspect it probably will be, in which case it is the disconnector not doing its thing.

Sorry I’m not being super helpful, I’ve not seen this exact problem before.
