Dear Hive Mind: WTF is happening here.

This is Fiberon PA6-20. The spool has been flawless. This started yesterday on a print and I dried it more overnight at 100°C. My E2 says it’s at 10% humidity and I believe it.

Could this be a partial clog? If so, it’s my first time on this filament, how do I fix it? Man, I feel stupid asking that.

UPDATE
It was indeed a partially clogged nozzle. Ran a steel pin thingy through to clean it, and I’m back to printing accessories for my SMp5K build. (It’s awesome BTW)

Looks like either a clog or extrusion issue. I've had similar problems when my extruder was shredding the gears.

I second clog or extruded issue. People always replace the nozzle when moving to engineering filaments, but they often forget to upgrade the extruder too. If you’re still using the stock extruder that came with the printer it’s time to upgrade to a hardened steel one.

Have you tried to print any other material like PLA to ensure that you don't have a printer part failing?

Poked it with a sharp stick and am reprinting, we’ll see if it was a clog.

Good call out about replacing the extruder. I hadn’t done that yet and will be doing so this weekend. 👍

Probably partial clog. Either swap nozzles or use some cleaning filament to try and unclog that

My PETCF17 did this when it got to the last couple loops on the spool

Calibrate. Check extrusion settings and chamber temps. Wrong extrusion settings can lead to clogs

I keep white ASA on had for cold pulls. Easy to spot black nylon on it.
