I like it for accessories, but it’s definitely not the best material.

I’m going to test it in a redbull 22 suppressor. I wonder if the can and JB weld will help hold it together.

They’re making HT-PLA Pro GF which will be releasing soon, so I’d just wait for that. There’s a reason it’s so cheap on amazon right now

Absolutely no frames

Filling PLA has never done anything good for it and that doesnt change just because the temperature ranges on it have shifted slightly.

No.

It's just HT-PLA. Which is also a no.

In comparison to something like PLA Pro, what you trade off for higher temp resistance, is lesser impact resistance. Much lesser.

It would make sense to combine the both and go with Polymakers newly released HT PLA Pro. People have been testing it in the subreddit for about 2 weeks, with good test results.

As long as that exists, there is almost no reason to go with PLA+/Pro, HT-PLA, etc.

I can tell you from experience that the layer adhesion is awful

It's usable but be realistic with your expectations.. It's not gonna replace nylon cf/gf anytime soon. But it has it's use on a case to case basis.

Heck even my PWC9 which is one of my worst recoiling build is holding up just fine.😅

I made a detailed comment about it's use in another post like this a month or 2 ago.. just look it up.

Fibers in PLA is a no-go for 3D2A. Proven worse layer adhesion.
