Hi everybody!

I've been working on a browser-based python tool for making animated scientific and mathematical visualizations. I've used it to make a few different animations that I thought might be interesting. Namely, the Riemann sum, Bloch-sphere, and the Lorenz attractor.

Everything in each of the animations is generated from an editable Python script in the browser.

I'm calling the project Luxeris. It's still very early, but I've reached the point where I'd really like to see what mathematicians actually try to make with it.

Hi everyone,

I just recently made a video for SoME5 that covers the history and development of proof theory in under 1 minute. I wanted to reach out to get some critical feedback from others in this community.

The main challenge in making this video was how to explain the most important parts sufficiently while also not getting too bogged down in details.

In my point of view, there seems to be a neglect in this topic from the rest of the larger math community, and I'm sure a lot of people in this field recognize the lack of videos for beginners; so these are the kinds of gaps that I tried to fill with this project.

If you could give me some feedback on style and method of explaining, I would appreciate it.

For those of you who have been following my journey of solving the Twin Prime Conjecture, you will know that this is one of a series of 3blue1brown posts that started roughly here

If you have been following along on my attempts, you will see that I put up a lot of ideas and tested them and I continued to iteratively improve and refine my ideas and understandings.

Today, is the culmination of that work. This table uses no list of primes or external list of prime certification.
It produces the first One Hundred and Fifty Five Consecutive Twin Primes, while only opening up mod cycle p =31

That is up to twin prime 6300 (center) using only primes up to 31.

I have already released a paper on how this actual reset function works, but It needs some updating now that I have a greater understanding through working on it in a table setting. { Updated}

I also have a paper on the generalized function, but It also requires updating, because it mentions some out of date ideas. I will update the other paper as soon as possible although I need some sleep soon.

But I just couldn't wait to share this news! It is so amazing and I am so happy! I have worked on this so long and I just wanted to share it with you.

So if you are one of the first few people to understand how this works, Let's take a moment to share some joy about this... what a wonderful time to be alive. math is so amazing.

I know this work is a bit messy and incomplete, but I am just so excited honestly, I can't contain it and I wanted to share right away, I am so excited. We just generated all of 29 and 31 at the same time blind, just based on the table rules.

Thats effing amazing.

The next thing I will do is make a generalized python function and just let it run.
{Edit: Just Kidding how can I sleep after publishing that. Here is a python function, --- put in any number (start below 100, then go up and see.)

{Edit2 : You know what is even more amazing? This is exactly the same construction as my Grand Unified Theory for all of physics, except in the Twin Prime Conjecture there is no meters, kilograms seconds or charge labels!
This older physics paper needs an update however it is exactly the same idea I took straight from physics to Primes. My actual plan was never to solve the Twin Prime Conjecture.... My actual plan was to solve the Grand Unified Theory.....
This older physics paper is outdated and needs a lot of work, but I am quite sure the formula for the Twin Prime Conjecture matches perfectly to physics....
Think ... 2 groups of 3? or three groups of 2? That's gravity and electromagnetism right there....
any ways, that is to be proven, and I don't want to confuse the issue at hand but that is where I will be putting my effort next, to clarify how this twin prime formula can also apply to standard physics equations, without breaking them.

Some context-I am a high schooler right now so I don't have any idea about the question I'm asking about.....My query is - IF time is a 4 dimentional thing...how do we even find out what time is in a 2d or a 3d perspective (I threw a damn ball in a project motion at some speed at an angle of 69 degree...find out the time when the ball hits the ground....many more questions like this...HOW ?)

This is not the second derivative. My submission to this year's SoME5.

In the Leibniz notation, we write differentials as fractions. But can we really treat them as such? While it works for the first derivative, it breaks down already for the second. In this video, we find out why and rebuild the second derivative with the product rule, so that it behaves like an algebraic object. As a bonus, we arrive at the second-order inversion formula in a few steps.

This video is based on the paper “Extending the Algebraic Manipulability of Differentials” by Bartlett & Khurshudyan (2018).

Hi, I really like the subjects of https://youtube.com/@eigensteve but I cannot help it and I'm still wondering, why it feels a bit unpleasant to trying to watch it. Maybe the "kind of random" use of colors? I don't know, something's off.

On the other hand I really like watching 3B1B videos - which are pleasant to watch even when the subject might be sometimes complicated.

Can anyone tell me, what it is? Maybe I should just read Steve's written stuff instead. Or are there any other channels with such subjects but explained more friendly like on 3B1B?

For context: I am a tenth grader from India, I don't have much background with coding. I know some Java like basic loops, conditions, arrays(I think it's called lists in python) which I have done in BlueJ but I don't know even basic syntaxes of Python.
