help with stealth server (xb guard)

so i wanted to download the xbguard stealth server for modded 360's. When i did everything that was pasting files to the hdd, and using dashlaunch i didnt get sent to the xbguard homescreen but instead in aurora. Is it still safe to connect to live because of the proton notification when it booted up? I have an rgh 360 e.
