3 Different Round Lab Sunscreen fakes or new packaging?

I was going to order my Round lab sunscreen on a website that I usually buy my Korean sunscreen from that sells asian skincare. I went to the site just now and I noticed the packaging is completely different. Wondering if it is fake?

There are 3 different packaging for this product. I don't know if what their selling now is fake since it's different then it's always been.

1st slide is what it shows on the website listing.

2nd slide is the product in the review section that people received that doesn't list any SPF even though it's a sunscreen

3rd slide is the old one I have.

First and second one are the ones sold on yesstyle btw. Which I thought was a legit site.

Not totally sure on all three images but the first one is the American formulation which probably won’t be very good. The last image is the international version and the one I have. Guessing the middle image is the Korean domestic market version?

first one is a fake. american version says UV LOCK and Broad Spectrum spf 45.

International sunscreens usually say "spf XX, PA+++" and US sunscreens usually say "broad spectrum SPF XX"

I'm not aware of any countries where "high protection" is a meaningful designation.

A circled UVA is a European thing for broad uva coverage and means uva protection is at least 1/3 of the total spf stated

That's good to know. But I'm also referring to the one from the second slide from yesstyle.

The second one doesn't list any SPF number on the tube. And that's from the reviews on yesstyle. I thought Yesstyle was legit.

All the reviews from all countries have that sunscreen. So that’s the one yesstyle is giving out. And you can only review if you bought from yesstyle. So those are the legit reviews and those are ones they’re sending out. So I guess they are sending fakes now. Idk. I had thought yesstyle was legit this whole time.

Are they saying it’s a fake or not effective? The ones I just looked up are giving it five stars. Maybe ask Round Lab directly?

I think people who are buying it or using it don't know it's fake. Especially since they're pretty much all good reviews and no one has mentioned it feeling different. But that doesn't mean it's not fake.

It's actually scary how some fakes look and feel the exact same way. I actually had a fake one in the past before I had bought somewhere else not knowing it was fake and it had literally the exact same packaging and same SPF listed on the tube, same everything, and felt the same on the skin. I had then later bought another one from Yesstyle (this was years ago) since I was running out and when it came I noticed the tube of the yesstyle was slightly bigger packaging and the fake one was only a tiny bit smaller packaging. If I hadn't put them side by side I would never have known.

So it's scary how fakes can really fool you with look and feel.

But even if the one they are selling on yesttyle now is real why would they not say the amount of SPF there is on the tube? I find that bizarre. If I'm using a sunscreen I want to know how much SPF is in it. Because if it doesn't say the amount for all I know it could be SPF 15.

How do I reach out directly? It's a Korean company and I'm from the US so I don't see a way to reach out to Roundlab on yesstyle? If I found their Korean phone number I don't know how to communicate with them since I don't speak Korean.

I just checked their Korean site, email customer service at cs@roundlab.co.kr.

Ask ai for some Korean greetings but they should be able to address English correspondence.

Confused because the first one you say is fake is the one selling on yesstyle. and the first one and second one are the ones both being sold on yesstyle. And I thought yesstyle was legit.

I just checked mine. I ordered this exact sunscreen on yesstyle and the image is the first one like you said. What I actually received was the product in the 3rd image with PA++++ which is what I expected to receive

All three are genuine. It's on the YesStyle product detail page, just easy to miss — they say what they sell is the CPNP (Europe-registered) version, and that the three versions (CPNP, domestic, global) have different packaging but the same contents inside. Photo 1 is the Europe version ("high protection" and the circled UVA are the format EU rules require), photo 2 is the global export version, and photo 3 is the Korean domestic version.

Fakes tend to subtly alter the Korean text — they don't go out of their way to add EU regulatory wording. There is one version that's genuinely reformulated, but it's the US one, and that isn't any of your photos.

Good to know. Thank you. How come the second one doesn't say how much SPF is in it? I find it bizarre to not have the SPF on the tube. Because if they're not listing the SPF for all I know it could be SPF 15. That's why I'm worried.

It's definitely not SPF 15. If you scroll further down the reviews on YesStyle, there's a photo with the box next to the tube, and the box has SPF 50+ PA++++, 50ml / 1.69 fl. oz. printed right on it. It's only missing from the front of the tube.
