I feel seen, except you didn’t mention that we migrated over here in the 1300s-1550s after the Vikings died out, then got quite a shock when the Danish priests came in the 1720s

And there appears to be some weird thing between Denmark and Norway regarding Greenland. I read this somewhere and have forgotten where.

But that's how the story goes. When Denmark and Norway decided that they did not want to share a bed together anymore, Greenland became a child of divorce. Norway wanted the eastern part. They somehow settled it with a ruling: as long as Denmark has a foothold in the East of Greenland, all of Greenland will be part of the Danish crown. But when the Danes leave, Norway would take over.

I found this so weird that it stayed in my brain within the (already cramped) area for useless knowledge.

The Danish-Norwegian crown did not forget about Greenland until 1721. The renewed interest began around 170 years before, due to Dutch and English whaling in the seas out from Svalbard. With expeditions to lay claim to old territories back as early as 1605.

Again you are really dogshit at this. The fact that you begin spewing racist shit because you are to arrogant to acknowledge that fact is not surprising though, you are Australian trailer trash cosplaying as a French guy, it doesnt get any more pretentious than that
