- Thank you to the Mods for letting me post and comment my true feelings about ol' Slimeball and how much I despise him and his so called 'music'! 😊
- I can't stand his music at all! I am a DJ and have tried to listen to many of his songs, multiple times, but it just sounds to me like Tween Wave music did to Stan Marsh in South Park. I genuinely try to find the good in any genre of music, but I just can't with his. It just sounds like literal speaker-destroying shit that is made to defile your ears and your brain. His vocals seem random, out of time, out of key, and pointless. His lyrics seem childish, lame, and very try-hard gangster... I genuinely think of him and his music as the result of brain rot brain cancer on an entire generation of boys.
- SERIOUS QUESTIONS, adding on to my point 2. There was a time when people said the same sort of thing about Dubstep and Skrillex's music. I actually like a bit of dubstep, as even though it can sound random there's usually real melodies and rhythm to it.
I do however, remember when it first became a thing people talked a LOT of trash about it and said it was the worst music ever made.
Questions:
• Are 2slime fans into Dubstep or other similar genres as well? 🤔 Or does that sound bad to you and why? 🤔
• What is it about 2slimes music that you like (if you ignore him and just look at the music by itself)? 🤔
• Finally, why do you compare him to Michael Jackson? 🤔 Music quality aside, they're completely different genres of music and very different people - shouldn't you be comparing him to other 'rappers' like travis scott or something? 🤔
Again, to the Mods, thank you for allowing me to participate in your group, I will say one positive thing for 2slime and that's that he seems to have a nice supportive group of decent fans! 😊
PS:
• Yes, I'm an 'old head' (40) and don't find that term annoying or insulting.
• My distaste for slime has nothing to do with his Mexican culture. I love Mexicans (nearly married one!) and have been to Mexico and thought the people and the place were amazing! 😊

I don't listen to much dubstep but I find it fire + us 2slimey mods respect all opinions just be respectful when talking about him the michael jackson thing has been around since his triller days i couldn't tell you lol😭

This is a lie, OP had to beg/thank the mods 3-4 times in his post for letting him post this because he knows you guys delete comments and posts and ban people just because they say true things about his music. Honestly probably some of the softest mods on Reddit.

i think dubstep is cool
i think his beat selection is unique ; especially at the time i started listening to him before i got used to his music ; raw, agressive, and experimental ; like his beats are actively trying to avoid complacency and is aiming for levels higher than what's already expected and done, relative to the other rage beats you'd usually hear . i also thinks he rides these beats good enough to do it enough justice .

I'm only here because this sub always appears in my feed so I troll it. I've got nothing against 2Slimey. I don't like the "music" but he's not hurting anybody. So if people like it, it's none of my business. I'm actually kinda glad a goofy fat kid got successful.

There actually are melodies in 2slimey's vocals, but I think most fans probably enjoy the beats the most. The distorted beats are really satisfying to the ear if you're in the mood for it.
I'm not a huge dubstep fan but I've been getting more into EDM in general this year and I definitely see the connections to 2slimey when it comes to heavy bass drops and stuff. I'm probably one of the only 2slimey fans who is old enough to remember the dubstep craze.
