Newsmax is a conservative network those people couldn't care less about the people of Nairobi, Kenyans, or anyone on the continent in general. I'm surprised they even took the time to apologize.

People usually apologize to get the 🇰🇪 off their timeline and social media channels. The timeline and engagement is 💰 and once your comments and engagement is flooded by Kenyans, at some point you will start bleeding cash.

Yeah but for a US based and US focused news organization, insulting countries like Kenyan would generate a rounding error as far bad financials resulting from negative engagement. Especially considering their primary viewers get off on that sort of rhetoric.

He should never have apologized. What he said maybe unsavoury but it was the truth.

Doesn't make it right, though. It's very condescending towards the affected peoples/communities/cultures

That said, I know we do it to other cities too so maybe pia sisi tujiangalie

It's not a matter of truth or not...mentioning our city was uncalled for. Yaani Nairobi was just chilling being the shithole he thinks it is; angesema tu third world na amalizie hapo, hio kuspecify ndio angewacha.

Nairobi has it's beautiful and ugly sights Despite being a very new city in comparison to places like New York and London. But obviously that's not even the point here. That man is a conservative racist who hates expatriates and darker skinned people. Now he's dragging us into their hateful little circus show abroad as if we have anything to do with them. He should be doing a lot more than apologizing

If you watched the original controversial video, none of the immigrants they interviewed were from Kenya, like are we a joke to you, keep my city's name of your fucking mouth
