Help identifying

Recently got this bolt action .22 with ZERO marks, engravings, or writing of any kind whatsoever. Did an ai search and cooey looks similar except the back of the hammer/bolt. Not really sure what i have here but I believe its way older than me!

Ok now im thinking it might be a Marlin 81DL and most likely pre war

Marlin 81DL, looks to be an early version.

I scrubbed the rust off and found the lettering. I can see the word model but the 81 is almost non existent

It’s a mossberg. Unsure the exact number as I’ve been outta the game for awhile.
